He is finally here, my Curious Otter Pin Badge!
I have wanted to get this little chap made into a lovely metal pin badge for a while now, and what better time than before Christmas! Perfect as a stocking filler gift, or for yourself, this metal pin has a lovely quality to it and will keep you company on these cold wintery days.
He is available on my website, Not on The Highstreet shop and Etsy! He will also be making his debut at Renegade Craft Fair on 9th and 10th December at the Old Truman Brewery!
Flow is such a beautiful magazine full of interesting and insightful articales from illustrators and artists, so I was so happy to have my Curious Otter Tote Bag featured in their Dutch issue. How gorgeous is the cover!
I love blue sky, I definitely feel so much happier when the sun is shining. Here are a few pictures from recent months, I haven’t updated this blog nearly enough.
The top picture is from an air show! The middle is a lovely rose covered wall in Hampton Court, one of my favourite places to be when the sun shining and bottom picture is of my Curious Otter tote bag hanging on a ivy covered wall. I recently sent some more to the brilliant Cambridge Contemporary Crafts so if you’re in the lovely Cambridge area pop in and have a look!
You can purchase all these goodies and more from the Not On The Highstreet Summer Sale with 20% off!
The summer sales are seriously tempting, the hope of sunshine (yes please) just makes you want to brighten things up with a few new lovely items!
I have a new twitter icon! This isn’t really blog post worthy but I just wanted to show you this lovely picture of my Curious Otter Tote Bag, snuggled in amongst the spring leaves on a warm sunny day.
I love spending time in the countryside, it was so lovely and sunny at the weekend (not so much now I just got drenched in a downpour!) and it was just what I needed, to be amongst the beautiful blossom, feel the warmth of the sun and look out onto fields of green grass.
For my walk amongst the trees I wore my new Curious Otter tote bag, it’s perfect for carrying a small jacket for when things get a little bit chilly, or for holding your jumper when things get a bit hot! It does happen from time to time!
When I have super heavy items to carry around (which may or may not include a few boxes of french fancies…they can get quite heavy you know!) I usually tie the long straps into a knot for easier carrying capabilities.
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine, let’s hope it comes back soon!
