I love blue sky, I definitely feel so much happier when the sun is shining. Here are a few pictures from recent months, I haven’t updated this blog nearly enough.
The top picture is from an air show! The middle is a lovely rose covered wall in Hampton Court, one of my favourite places to be when the sun shining and bottom picture is of my Curious Otter tote bag hanging on a ivy covered wall. I recently sent some more to the brilliant Cambridge Contemporary Crafts so if you’re in the lovely Cambridge area pop in and have a look!
I now create custom pet illustrations!
I have been commissioned for a few custom pet portraits in the past and love drawing your beautiful furry friends so I thought I would offer a bespoke service on my website and online stores!
When placing an order simply send me a picture of your lovely pet or even favourite animal and I will create a line drawing for you (in the style of the fluffy bunny above) on a5 Fabriano paper for £40!
These would make really nice gifts for anyone with pets (lucky!) or anyone that has a favourite animal they would like captured in an ink drawing!
Available to order from my website, Not On The Highstreet and Etsy shop.
Last week I took part in the Hepatitis C Trust Art on A Postcard Auction, where artists were invited to create work in raise funds for the charity.
An exhibition of the work was held at Whitfield Fine Art Gallery, and I went along a few days before the auction ended to have a look at all the work and see my Curious Otter and Fine Feathers next to some wonderful artists, such as Damien Hirst, Marc Quinn and Gilbert and George.
It was lovely to take part in something so worthwhile and help raise funds for a great cause.
I took six new framed original drawings to Elphick’s (Columbia Road, London) yesterday along with a few framed prints. The original drawings are (top to bottom) ‘The Lookout’, ‘On The Riverbank’, ‘Hide and Seek’, ‘Fox’, ‘Panda’ and ‘Bear’. All are mounted on acid free materials in solid oak frames, ready to hang!
