Last week I went to beautiful Gothenburg in Sweden. I have visited Gothenburg a few times but this was the first time I had been to the lovely island of Asperö. It was so peaceful to walk around and has such amazing views, I have never been anywhere quite like it.
Things Lately
Here are a few things I have bought, found been or been working on lately.
My Orange Fox brooch, a sweet little pinecone I picked up on a walk in the Surrey sunshine, a lovely papier mâché box from an amazing shop in Brighton, I love orange and green and elephants have a very special meaning to me. And my latest painting Windswept IV which is now available from my Etsy shop.
Old Spitalfields Market
I visited Old Spitalfields Antique Market last week, and it was full of such lovely things!
I have only ever walked through the market on my way to somewhere else when ever I’ve been in East London, but last Thursday was the Antique Market and I had to have a proper look at all the stalls.
I only came away with one item though, this lovely orange and green bag that I loved as soon as I saw it, and for £6.50 I couldn’t leave it behind.
Painting
I have been doing some painting today for the first time in a long time. I can’t quite bring myself to say how long, but it’s been nice to use more colour and loosen up a bit.
I may even have some available soon! (if I can manage not to drop the paintbrush on the paper like I did today…)

New Keyrings!
New Stock!
I am so pleased to show you my new wares! I have 8 new acrylic brooches that you can purchase via my Etsy shop and website (available from tomorrow). I have 2 new Fox designs based on my woodcut prints and my favourite 6 from previous keyring designs!
I also now have 6 new acrylic keyrings that I will share with you soon!
In the meantime…
I will soon be sharing my new stock with you! There are a few last minute bits to work out so in the meantime, here are a few pictures from the recent bank holiday Monday. I love my new Acorn necklace which was a present from a lovely shop in Kingston, the beautiful meadow flowers can be found in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace and the less than impressed looking Deers reside in Bushy Park : )

PaperCrafter magazine
I have been meaning to do a blog post on this for so long and have finally got around to doing it!
The lovely PaperCrafter magazine very kindly included me in their ‘Picture Perfect’ section of issue 67, it really is such a great magazine and it is wonderful to be amongst such amazing illustrators and their beautiful work.
Issue 70 is out now!
